32/365

This was actually shot about a month ago, but I'm not sure how it didn't make it to shot of the day, because clearly...it's AWESOME!

Courtney Ateyeh is breathtakingly beautiful.

This shot was taken under the lamar pedestrian bridge on Lady Bird Lake. The water reflects beautifully off of the concrete.

Macro.

These are the beautiful eyes I see and love every day.

Ross and I went to Fort Worth to visit my parents this weekend. While we were there, we all went to the Arts Festival downtown. While we were there, I snapped this picture of a man playing the Scottish bagpipes.

GSD&M, the agency Ross works for, sent out an email Thursday afternoon encouraging everyone to take an alternative form of transportation to work for Earth Day. He walks to work every day, so didn't really have another idea. I told him he should fly to work. He planked on the fence near the train track at the top of the hill and we took a picture, which won him two Rudy's breakfast tacos when he arrived at work. Score!

After my AYC Poker Tournament planning meeting at The Tavern, I drove across the street to the infamous Castle on the Hill. It was a bit sketchy, but certainly interesting!

This shot of the Tom Miller Dam was taken from the roof patio at Abel's on the Lake. It's a beautiful day in Austin, Texas.

This shot was actually taken the day we visited Austin Speed Shop, but it was too cool not to include as a shot of the day!

I crawled to the top of the spiral hill at the Long Center to get this gorgeous shot of the downtown skyline. What a beautiful day.

Nice night for a swim. Lacking inspiration on the roof of Gables Park Plaza and in dire last minute need of a great shot of the day, Ross kindly offered to free fall backward fully clothed into the swimming pool moments after we were unofficially given the boot. Oh yeah... got it!

The Texas Stars asked me to shoot some photos at their last home game Saturday night. This shot is of Mike Hedden after he scored on a penalty shot. It was our first goal of the game. I am going to miss hockey season. Go Stars! Good thing it's Stanley Cup Playoff times. Go Bruins, Go Penguins!

Cousin Heath and Uncle John came to Austin last weekend for the Lonestar Round Up traditional hot rod event. Friday night, Ross and I met them at Jesse James' Austin Speed Shop on South Lamar for an Open House. The Discovery channel recently began airing a reality show based around the shop. It was awesome!

This shot was taken late at night off of Walter Seaholm Dr and Sandra Muraida Way. Most of the image has been de-saturated with the exception of the red neon lights!

The sunset is absolutely beautiful looking out from the footbridge underneath Mopac over Lady Bird Lake. Update: I have decided that every photo does not have to include a person or be portrait-style. Ross asked a valid question: Do you always want to shoot portraits? To which I responded: Not at all. Therefore, my photos for this project will also include landscape and architecture. :) Hope you enjoy!

When you are sidelined with the stomach flu, this is the only sight you see. All. Day. Long. Thankfully that has passed and I am all better. Needless to say, it's not the most interesting shot, but the bed was certainly my only reality on Monday.
